As ‘Beri’ literally means a hill in Gangwon dialect, Berion Resort is situated on a hill.
Resort is the actual background of a Korean novel titled “When Buckwheat Flower Blooms” by the beloved Korean author Lee Hyo-seok (penname “Gasan”).
